To say someone is a better footballer doesn't really mean all that much does it? Alex Hleb's touch, passing and dribbling was incredible, as a pure footballer he was probably better than Thierry Henry, certainly better than Didier Drogba or Freddie Ljungberg - yet Hleb was nowhere near as effective a footballer as those three, so what does being a better footballer really even mean, what does it count for, if it doesn't result in more goals and more assists than someone who is supposedly inferior?
