Same old deal with Nasri for me; excellent in everything he did except his incisive passing - overhit or underhit everything and missed so many opportunities to play others in. He's just not a forward.

Quality player without doubt, doesn't really matter whether he was the best player on the pitch or not (he was up there), just making a point about something I feel is a huge weakness in his game. The guy can't direct a creative pass where it needs to go 9 times out of 10. He'd be a world class forward if he could. I'd play him as a centre midfielder and try to reduce the number of times he's asked to pass incisively. The role Arteta has played for us this season. Think he'd be awesome there.

Fulham have actually scored more than the pool... too bad that they have let in too many goals.

What does it matter to them? All they care about is the FA Cup. The difference between 8th and 11th or whatever is negligible.

Everton players looked gutted walking off. I guess they let the ogres of Stoke off easily.
Liverpool looked like crap in their game. I hope Everton keep it together and finish ahead of them. Just as I hope Citeh win the league in the 2nd half of the 38th game.

They're being embarrassed week in and week out. It matters. They've already lost out on any chances to qualify for Champions League which was their target for this season. If they end up with the league cup and a 12th place finish it'll go down as their worst season in the last two decades. It'll affect everything connected with the club too. Current players, transfer targets, wage bills.

No, if you finish 11th there's a pretty good reason for doing so and you're that much further away from going back to the top. Plus, their home record is horrific.

The FA cup final and the Carling Cup may just be the worst thing to have happened to Liverpool in their current situation.
