Miyaichi creates a good chance for Bolton towards the end of the half. Shot goes over the bar in the end. He dribbled through the Chelsea defence at speed there. A better teammate would have played the ball back to him sooner when he had a better opportunity to score.

Yeah, that was about the only real chance he has had to influence things.

Not sure I'd describe Chelsea's combination play as world class in this game, Klaus. They've been pretty poor all round. Sturridge is the only one doing anything out there for them.

Fuck Chelsea. Ryo on the other hand has worked hard, and mostly successful, on defense. Offensively, his movement is great. Almost always manages to find space for himself to be able to receive the ball. Has had Bolton's only chance with that dribble and shot.

I don't think Sturridge has done much, Ricky. He runs well with the ball but he's not very active in the buildup. Most of the stuff comes from Mata or Essien. Some beautiful overlapping between Cole and Drogba in the first half too.

I think Mata has been poor tbh. Essien hasn't been great either. Sturridge has been greedy as per usual, but I think he's been comfortably the most dangerous player on the pitch. Nearly every chance Chelsea have created has had Sturridge at the heart of it.

Cahill has also been quite impressive.
