If Real Madrid have any sense they will be all over that - even if Liverpool have rejected it, it's clear he wants out.

Suarez in, Torres out? If he goes to Chelsea, I'll be gutted.
In fact, thinking about it a little more, I'm probably being quite naive. Real Madrid don't have much of a chance of getting Torres, because there's not a doubt in my mind that Chelsea and Torres know every little detail of the deal on the table, and this has all been discussed and pre-arranged.
Didn't Chelsea and Gerrard also know every little detail, though?
Wouldn't be surprised if Torres stays on for quite a while yet, Liverpool seem to have an aptitude for getting their hooks into players.
I was led to believe at the time, that Gerrard stayed only because gangsters in Liverpool threatened the lives of his family. It was a done deal, and everything had been tied up. Not sure if Torres, as a Spaniard, would get the same treatment?
I think Gerrard stayed because he loved Liverpool, simple as.
Torres don't have the same affection though. He didn't grow up there.
He might as well wait until the end of the season.
Well he might win something if he moves now.
True.
Kenny won't allow it though. Liverpool will wait til the end of the season and milk it. If Suarez and Torres make a good partnership then maybe Torres might reconsider.
If I was Liverpool I would not sell him at any price during this window unless it was literally 60m quid plus. He's worth about 40 probably and he'd leave for that in the Summer me thinks.
Agree with all that.
I suppose the X factor is that Torres is actually fit and playing at the moment. By summer he might be on another injury layoff.
Get in there! 1-0 Southampton.....
Still 1-0 on the hour mark.
Lol. ManU's won this one again.
1-1
Owen with a typical Owen goal. Giggs and Nani were brought on about 10 minutes ago. United's second team are diabolical. Tony you go way overboard about Hernandez, his all round game is so average, poor in fact, in some respects.
1-1
Oxlade-Chamberlain scrapes a grass-cutter wide of goal ...
1-2 The Other Mexican scores another important goal
@Ricky. Re: Hernandez: He's one of the sharpest, most dangerous strikers in the Premier League. His "all round" game may be wanting, but he's perfect for a team like United, who've always thrived on goalpoachers.
Just scored again as well, after looking like he'd fallen over and fluffed it. He definitely has some sort of knack about him.

I never said he wasn't dangerous, but I was talking specifically to Tony, who I've seen put Hernandez in the same category as a striker like David Villa, because of his all-round game, which is ridiculous. He's a goal poacher, a good goal poacher at that, but he lacks real speed, strength, technique, awareness, and passing ability. He needs a strike partner who does all those things for him.
He's just what we need.
