Fabregas to be put up for sale?

Guillem Balague said on Talksport that Barca have no interest in selling Cesc, that Arsenal would definitely be interested at the price Utd have offered and that given a choice Cesc would definitely choose Arsenal over any other English club.

Now I know he can chat a serious amount of bollox, but he does actually know Cesc quite well, so I'm inclined to believe him pretty much.

One thing is that Balague always says that Barcelona have no interest in selling someone, even a day before they inevitably move.

I don't really see why Barca need to sell Cesc but I'm inclined to disbelieve anything that comes out of that club.

Some dude on SSN supposedly saying that Barca will need an offer of closer to £35mill to be tempted to sell and the clubs interested in him are Arsenal, Man Utd, Man City & Chelsea. Also says that Fabregas would only leave if Barca tell him they are willing to let him go.

I think he's right in saying that Fabregas will join us over any other English team. It's something I really want to believe anyway.

ESPN seem to report that we have a first option to buy back Fabregas at a fixed price which is quite close to the 25 million pounds Man U have offered. If he goes to any other club, we get 50% of the profits made.

If their reporting is true (I find this to be the most probable arrangement), then, Man United can go up to 35 million or whatever but we will have a bid accepted at 25 million only. I'll be quite satisfied and re-assured if this is indeed the arrangement.

In any case, I can't see him moving now that Thiago has left.

These Fabregas rumours are picking up a lot of steam despite both the club and player saying he won't move, baffling really.

If Wenger does not go for him it will give him the perfect excuse to sign for United. He can say his choice was Arsenal but they didnt want me.

From an Arsenal point of view it is a rumor that originates purely from the desperation of our fans to have him back. People started making stuff up on twitter, did some 2+2 and here it is. United though look interested. Let's see how far they are prepared to go.

Thats what i meant in my earlier post.
It does not appear that we are interested at all. If there is a fixed buy back option for around £25 million and Barca are open to selling we should have been all over this before the mancs even submitted a bid.
