Yes i understand how all these clauses work, but if Utd buy him for reported £25m then we get nothing.
and that's how it's suppose to be. the only way arsenal could protect themselves in such a situation would be to have first option. if they didn't put that clause in then they fucked up if they just had euro signs in their eyes and didn't think it was possible for his value to go down.
Imagine seeing Fabregas playing the ball through to RVP for United. 😆
pffff i don't even want to think about it.
Its a stretch that he would make it to Man Utd.
To do so he'd have to: 1) Leave Barca in a season when playing time will be much easier to get 2) Pass over us, who I'm sure would be first in line 3) Accept a move to Man United who he's had issues (pizza) with
Seems too much
I'd bet my last pound that he wouldn't go United.

Number 1 is all that matters IMO. I don't think he'd leave Barca right now but I've no doubt he'd go to United if he did. He loves RVP, Fergies gone so the pizza thing is history and they'll pay more and are more likely to win things.
I said this in the Rooney thread but Fergusson hasn't gone per se, has he? It will be interesting to know who is in charge there when it comes to handling these issues. Will Cesc be someone Moyes wants or is he Fergusson's choice?
If Barca accept a bid from Utd, and we don't make an offer, hard to see him turning them down.
We would certainly make an offer if he were available. He'd still have to choose us though.
Don't think Cesc will go to united.
Me neither.

It'd be as funny as seeing Clichy Nasri and Kolo lift the premiership for City.,,,,,No- Far funnier
Why would Cesc play for Moyes? He don't like him.
He would play for Man Utd - the league champions. The same club that Rooney and Van Persie are playing for.
Exactly. If Moyes turns out to be shit for them, his days at OT will be numbered. And anyone they replace him with will be an established top level coach.

If you were Cesc wouldn't you want some assurances that Arsenal are ready to show a bit more ambition before even considering coming back?
But we've already signed Sanogo.
Of course. Wonder how he feels about Suarez.
