All this 'we can't compete with Arsenal' stuff is so funny!

Maybe if you actually bothered to look up on the situation you'd realise this to be true.
Seriously any person who thinks Serie A clubs can compete financially for transfers needs to broaden their horizons.
They can't, but Vidal and others have already shown that it's not just about money.

Ramsey is a little overrated but it's nothing compared to Sanchez in this thread. Six outstanding months at Udinese and a similar spell at Barca somehow makes him our best player if he comes here, do they?
In terms of pure footballing ability Ozil is easily our best player, needs to lift it this season and I think he will.

This looks like it's going to happen. Our attack is looking spicy.
Need to sign a striker!
Sanchez, Ozil, Cazorla, Giroud will be a massive upgrade on what we dealt with mos of last year.
Stick to the Z theme and add Benzema, and I'll be smiling a tiny bit. Right now my happiness is short, and I am lacking in belief in the manager

Too true, Ramsey and even Ozil (for better or worse) are our top men and first names on the sheet and must be given the chance. Anyone who thinks that we should sign Sanchez just like Fabregas "to have more technical players available" must realise that we aren't Man City and can't afford that. Everyone knows where our priority signing must be and if people think that Wenger is going to make one there after pissing 35M down the toilet on Sanchez they have rocks in their heads.
Our priority should be adding pace and quality to the frontline and Sanchez offers both. Great signing.
Bah- we've got plenty of quality and Wengers style negates speed, we need a ruthless finisher as we can't be sure Ramsey can paper over the cracks again this season.
Sanchez is surely more Overmars than Fabregas.
Apart from Suarez I can't think of a better fit for this Arsenal team. He's all about the hustle and engineering an opportunity out of nothing.
maybe he's going back to what actually worked. and sanchez isnt another diminutive playmaker - he's chilean, he has some toughness, and he's a runner with pace.
there's no reason to be against this transfer. great player, and we are swimming with money - he's not going to stop us from getting anyone else.

No Shady I'm not comparing them I'm saying that people want him only because he's a name and not because they think we really need him. I'm also slaying that Wenger won't be spending 35M on more than one player that's for sure!

Can't believe you forgot Ramzey.

Yup. He's a tough customer who looks to have a good winning attitude.

SO since he's apparently costing us 32M we can afford a 35M player too! 😃
