Wouldn't it be very simple if (according to RAWK etc) Barca want Suarez, LFC want Sanchez, Sanchez is interested in going to LFC for them to put a deal together?

Maybe I am being simplistic, but it just seems that if you have all 3 parties in agreement then something can be sorted pretty easily.

Swap deals require two clubs to come to two valuations on players that both are happy with. Also both players need to be happy with terms and the move in general. This must make any sort of swap deal a total pain in the arse to resolve.

In addition, why the fuck would anyone want to move to liverpool minus Suarez? They would have been in 5th without him this year and I don't see sturridge being the like for like guy there next year.

its becoming apparent that sanchez will be our marquee forward, if we land him. would align with wenger saying he's not looking to replace giroud, but find someone that can play with him. sanchez, giroud, theo will all get time through the middle as required

sanchez isn't as good at club level without the free role in the national team. With ozil hogging the 10 here, is it ok to bring in sanchez for big money?
Maybe if wenger is building a team with giroud upfront and goals from midfield. We did good with that formation till ramsey got injured/overplayed but still don't like that kinda team.

In addition, more agents more problems. Both money-wise, but also interest-wise.

Wilson is anything but clued in. Ornstein though, its as reliable as it gets in the world from any journalist regarding Arsenal. He was spot on last year as well when he said we are in for an attacking mid and holding mid.

I agree that we are signing Sanchez as our marquee forward. Not sure why people are expecting us to sign a proper CF after we sign Sanchez because there are almost 0% chance of it happening.

Very promising that we are also after a holding mid. Schneiderlin, Khedira we can dream of.
