My gut feeling is that there's too much uncertainty over this one. We don't usually land these...he'll probably go elsewhere.

Personally cannot see us signing Sanchez, I would love it if we did, but I have been supporting this club too long and seen too much of Wenger and his transfers to have any kind of hope.

Ozil last year was great and god I would love to think that this is the type of signing we will be going for, but I cannot see Wenger change his cheap ass ways.

Seems like the 'delay' could be due to the Suarez deal, which makes sense given that the club is spending €80m or however much it is. I think we'll get him, the rumored €35m that Barca want is still pretty cheap. I don't Wenger will be backing out of this one because he's too expensive and we have other needs. If the rumors were about a €50m fee I'd be a lot more worried.

I don't see Liverpool getting Sanchez. All the media links etc poinnt towards either they don't want him or he doesn't want them, simply as everything I read about the Suarez transfer says that LFC are holding out for £60m+ straight deal not swaps/player deals.

Wouldn't it be very simple if (according to RAWK etc) Barca want Suarez, LFC want Sanchez, Sanchez is interested in going to LFC for them to put a deal together?

Maybe I am being simplistic, but it just seems that if you have all 3 parties in agreement then something can be sorted pretty easily.

Hm, think we have a good chance of signing Sanchez then. Ornstein is usually very cautious with these tweets. If we could bring in Debuchy, Sanchez and a central midfielder, things would look pretty good.
