Think he wants ridiculous salary (150k-200k). Otherwise, which club would miss out the chance to sign someone of Nani's quality for less than 10 million.

I think, we must have followed that left back from Benfica before buying Monreal and his agent is name-dropping in order to get more interest in his player.
Nani is a good player. Imagine it would be a different price if we wanted to buy him though.
I can understand if we were not interested to spend a sizable amount of money (could have been close to our record signing) on yet another young player who'd need time to settle in when we have a more impressive talent at the same position already in our books.
What I don't understand is why the Palace Chairman spoke to David Dein!
I understand it, just don't really see why a) he was bothered about Zaha staying in London and b) why he felt the need to tell this story in the first place.
Maybe he thinks Dein still works at Arsenal.
Not a secret that Dein and Wengie are friends.
Shows how ridiculous those exclusives by the papers are. They say we are nailed on to sign him isn't it and we are very interested. Turns out the complete opposite.
Or could be those people in palace firing up his interest for a higher price. Utd got conned
Not if he turns out to be a player. Either way, they can afford it. I'll reiterate my stance that it really isn't poor by any club to invest in youngsters with potential.
I mean they could have gotten him for far cheaper imo than 15m.
But yeah they could afford it. For a club that bought Nani for 27.5m only to be selling him for less than 10m now.
Latest On twitter. Arsenal have bid 37 million euros for El Sharawy!!!!

Twitter
From the social network that brought us Özil and Benzema. Lovely.
:hmm:
Galliani....
"The player we've received the most requests for," he revealed, "is El Shaarawy.
I don't want to say that he is unsellable because this word is difficult to pronounce in modern football. Many years at Milan have taught me that anything can happen."
They'll sell. They sold zlatan and Thiago without too much resistance

Not to us though, no way are we bidding €37m

To be fair it's not from twitter. It's from caught-offside.
Much better.
Damn Mr X is gone AWOL
Lorenzo Antonio Melgarejo.
We've scouted him.
Arsenal and Fenerbahce have had a look at Melgarejo, but so far nothing more has happened. He likes England.”-
