Latest On twitter. Arsenal have bid 37 million euros for El Sharawy!!!!

Obviously never going to happen, but hypothetically where would he play in our system? He couldn't play as a lone striker and it's unlikely that Wenger would drop Theo. Can he play LW?

It's his best position. He can play anywhere in the attack though, , which makes that ESPN article complete nonsense. His style isn't to "cut inside and get a shot away when in possession", it's to tear opponents apart on the break with his devastating pace. One touch and off he goes. His ball control is ridiculous at high speeds.

Edit: Read the rest of the article now and it basically said the same thing.

Ah, I thought he was mostly a RW. Thanks 🙂

Gervinho out, El-sharawy in.

Thank you

didn't read the article, but i know his productivity dipped after Balotelli came in. he was still involved and useful but Balo was more the focal point of attack in past 6 months. they're both too good to not be able to learn to play together and both score. would be senseless for Milan to sell this guy. if he did become available though, i'd take him. 31m pounds feels a bit high - but better we're 31m pounds down with this guy on the squad than status quo

With his age and potential 31m pounds is reasonable.

If all these rumours about us willing to pay ÂŁ25mill for Higuain are true I'd say stump up the extra ÂŁ6mill for him. Never gonna happen though, pipe dream.....

Would Milan really sell El Shaara and buy Tevez?

They will sell him if the offer is right.

But whether will anyone make the "right" offer remains to be seen.

They won't sell him just to replace him with Tevez at least. He's 20, Italian and on relatively modest wages. Unlike Ibrahimovic (and before him, Shevchenko) he's the future of both the club and the national team which makes him worth a pot of gold every season. I suspect they'll let him go for something ridiculous like ÂŁ50 million, but that's what it's going to take.

I've seen a lot of Milan over the last couple of seasons and while El Sharaawy is obviously a very good player, i've never really been blown away by him. I don't think he's quite in the same class as the likes of Gotze and Hazard.

He's not on Götze's level obviously but I'd take him over Hazard any day.

Mark Schwarzer available for free.

Thats the 2nd goalkeeping position sorted!

Toujours en quĂȘte de renforts aux prix d’achat limitĂ© sur le mercato

That's so last season 🙂
