I would rather give Grenier a few appearances next season than Diaby and Rosicky. People are talking like it's hard to improve our current squad. It's really not. You basically just have to show up without a major injury at the end of august.
There is a logic to that of course. I'd rather we strenghtened the squad at the other end though.
From what I've gleaned from the Grenier thread on the OL forum - he's fit for three to four games, and then misses time because of a twisted ankle, or something equally trivial.
So he is more to keep Diaby company then as opposed to actually replace him? Hmm. I guess there is a certain logic to that too.
The commentator on Canal+ said that we are in "advanced talks" with Grenier. Grenier said "I know Arsenal are after me." (Haven't seen the interview so I can't vouch for the accuracy of that quote)
