I don't understand how Pardew hasn't been sacked. His team massively under performed. His transfer policy has been erratic as well. To go from 5th to relegation fodder is some achievement.

He's too expensive to sack.

Injuries is his excuse.

Anyone seen Pulis leaving statement yet? He called us a certain team from North London

What did he say Clrnc?
Whats it got to do with us?

Winning against Arsenal is the best thing that happened to him in a decade? Excellent. ๐Ÿ˜†

Who cares what a man who is too shit for stoke thinks?

I want Steve Bould to go to Stoke and sell us Begovic! ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

Not too bothered about getting their players but we could do with finding a friendly manager who would give decent game time to our youngsters like Coquelin and Aneke.

Anyone still read The Secret Footballer?

The secret journalist has written a bit about manager departures this season and had this to say about Pulis:

Tony Pulis (Stoke City) 21 May, 2013

Whether sacked, resigned or gone by mutual consent, very few scribes will regret his departure. Straight from the old school of โ€œslag the refโ€ if Stoke were perceived to have been hard done by and โ€œhavenโ€™t seen the replayโ€ if his players had erred. Curt, evasive, sometimes plain rude. Premier League time is up and the lower leagues beckon. Only crocodile tears shed for him.

The Secret Footballer is Dave Kitson and he played under Pulis for a bit and it didn't go well. Probably a bit bitter although i don't disagree with anything he's written there.

That comment was actually written by the secret journalist. The secret footballer has a website now and has blogs from a secret journalist, physio, pundit (who is supposedly another current player) and even wag.

Mark Hughes is supposedly the front runner for the manager's job, if you were wistfully imagining this club becoming slightly less cuntish with Pulis's departure.

But hopefully he might get them relegated. Dogshit manager.

How does Mark Hughes constantly find himself a job? Aside from his time at Blackburn, he's been incredibly poor.

Yeah, he's pretty awful isn't he? Didn't he have a semi-decent spell at Man City? Can't remember how well/badly he did there before they got rid of him.

2 wins in his last 11 games at City according to wiki. Although his time at QPR has got to be one of the worst of any manager - ever.

The only spell he did good as a manager was Wales.

Or Blackburn to a lesser extent.

Yeah, I meant before that at City, obviously he was hammered shit right before they sacked him. If you look at his record you'll see he did have a decent spell there.

I can't stop laughing at this picture for some reason. I think it's the blood. ๐Ÿ˜†

He did ok by previous City standards but he was never going to achieve anything with them after the take over. He's a relegation/championship level manager.
