The Secret in Their Eyes is a great flick. Watched it in a double header with The Lives of Others, so that was a pretty good night.
Saw the new-ish film Puncture the other night. It's an Erin Brockovich sort of thing about a legal fight to get safety needles into hospitals. Stars the guy from Captain America. I'd say it was pretty average, but I'll give it 6.5/10 because it improved as it went on.
Also watched Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea, a strange little sf film from 1961 starring Walter Pidgeon, with guest starring roles for Barbara Eden and Frankie Avalon. The Van Allen Belt gets hyper-radiated threatening the future of the world - only an experimental US nuclear sub can save it. Wouldn't particularly recommend it unless you want to be reminded of the type of fluff that people used to go for (as opposed to what they go for today).
