Dawn French married one of the few people in the world I find less funny than her. Most women comedians and TV comedies made by women I just don't get at all.
Jo Brand, for example, how is she funny? I've never even so much as sniggered once at anything she's said. And she's always on something or other.
Although, I do quite like Miranda Hart, and always had a soft spot for Victoria Wood, especially her clever songs. Sarah Millican, the Geordie stand-up, is quite good too.
Most comedy in general I think is pretty shit right now. I watch 8 out of 10 Cats or Mock the Week and scratch my head how anyone can sit through the whole thing. For every funny joke there are twenty that make you want to rip your ears off.
Oh and can anyone explain to me what makes Noel Fielding funny?
