I saw Drive this afternoon. Good film, good soundtrack. Thought Ryan Gosling and Carey Mulligan conveyed their burgeoning relationship very well, and did so for the most part wordlessly. Think the "Terminator" comparison made by Humble Rex is spot on, but think it's actually a good thing. Another comparison I'd make is with Neil McCauley in Heat- the minute he lets someone into his world shit starts flying.
LA looked great and it was great to see Christina Hendricks and Bryan Cranston in a movie. Beyond that, I don't think it was even the best film I've seen in the last month.
