Nah. Great films hold up to whatever rules they're measured by, whether it's on an intellectual or more visceral level. It doesn't have to ruin a film to point out it might be flawed, it's just part of the overall discussion. Plenty of films that I absolutely love, that I know in my head have loads of problems, whether theoretically, aesthetically, or just historically. I think that's pretty much ok for art in general, but especially for the rich, varied, and often uniquely problematic landscape of cinema.
