Saw Star Wars and Paddington 2 on the weekend. I loved Paddington. Feel good movie with great cameos, slapstick humour and genuine characters. I also really liked Hugh Grant. He's possibly under rated over his career. I have liked many of his films, and he seems fine playing buffoons.
Star Wars however left me feeling meh. There was really nothing new in that film. I guessed half of the dialogue because we have seen it all before. It all felt re-hashed with bits from Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. I wish Chewy had just eaten one of those little critters.
