What's the big angle in that film? Does it focus a lot on Ellsberg and his leaks, or is it just a hagiography over the newspaper that decided to publish what he risked his life for? I'd be very interested in watching a film about the former; the latter, not so much.
It's a mainstream hollywood film, not something helmed by an oliver stone what do you think?
I was hoping for the former too, but still worth a watch I think. It's a plain retelling with no big heroes in the story, also mentions how diametrically opposite the public facade is from the private policies and all the US presidents before Nixon had the same crooked bent towards vietnam, and in turn, foreign policy.
But if you already know the details of how it went down-I didn't-, how they had stopped NYT prior to the WaPo and all, dunno if you'll get your money's worth.
