The first 4 are the other nominees. I think Lenny Abrahams should have won. He did beautiful subtle work, got great performances from his actors and hit every beat of the film perfectly IMO. It has the most suspenseful moment of any film I seen this year to boot. Its just incredible work on every level that a director could be judged.
Innaritu made a great 40 minutes of a movie then had one of the greatest screen actors alive scream and shout for another 2 hours of showy, emotionless, suspense-less misery and tedium. They shouldn't just keep giving him oscars for hiring Emmanuel Lubezki and saying "do the stuff you did with Terrence Malick.
