Saw a new-ish Belgian film called The Brand New Testament last night.
The premise is God is a horrible old man and his daughter escapes him to gather together new apostles and change the world.
I'd describe it as a "whimsical slog". It had many good moments and there were impressive visual tricks employed from scene to scene, but it was long, with an incredibly linear and dull screenplay.
It was also kinda grossly Eurocentric in its outlook.
