I thought Cantona's biography was a good read.

Flamini > Ronaldo.
Flamini is a really interesting character, I'd read his book.
Saw Spectre today. Couple of good moments, especially the opening sequence as usual, but a bit pro forma.
I wished they'd given Dave Bautista one more go around at the end, he was the film's best antagonist.
Saw it too today. Thought it was great up to the part where they take that train from Tangiers. It all turned to shit from there for me, though the fight on the train was great (and a nice nod to From Russia With Love).
Sounds about right. The plot felt really badly overcooked from the point they got in the vintage Rolls.
Think it's a good read myself. Tl;dr: Conspiracy that Jar-Jar Binks was actually planned to be the Phantom Menace, but they shoehorned in Count Dooku following the reactions after the first movie.
Has anyone seen Steve Jobs? Good?
Nah, checked on him the other day and he's looked better.
Zing!
😆
Russia and France have agreed to cooperate on their operations against IS.
I haven't seen that movie.
Being a PTA fanboy, I've been watching some films he listed as among his favourites in an interview one time.
Saw an interesting film called Something Wild last night from the 80s with Melanie Griffith and Jeff Daniels and a pretty creepy young Ray Liotta—worth a look. Was a bit surprised I hadn't heard of it before.
Oh, now that is a blast from the past! Miss Griffith got the innocent Mr Daniels into all sorts of trouble if I remember correctly. 🙂

Saw it. I think I liked it!!! Demme followed it up with Married to the Mob with Michelle Pfeiffer, really enjoyed that one. It's on TV regularly. What a hoot...
Yeah, it's good fun. 🙂
PTA thinks of Jonathan Demme as a huge influence, which is interesting.

Hype 🙂
Jesus, Marvel are minting it. Go from that trailer in this thread to people debating the merits of Jessica Jones vs Daredevil in the other.
Did you guys all grow up reading the comics or how come these films are so popular here?
