Re-watched Duck Soup by the Marx Bros last night.

Probably one of the funniest films ever - hard to believe it's from 1933. Very fresh in its way. Used to be one of my grandmother's favourite flicks before she carked it.

Also, I'd never actually seen The Mask or had the hots for Cameron Diaz, but that youtube clip finally explains why some guys have a bit of a thing for her. Nice erm ... cinematography.

Bigger fan of Ash than Hillary. Once met the girl. Acted like I had no idea who she was. We talked for about 5 minutes about this and that. She was really down-to-earth.

So it looks like Bane and Catwoman are the selections for the next Batman, Tom Hardy and Anne Hathaway respectively. Any opinions?

Bane seems a strange choice to me and I'm not too sure about the casting selections for either character.

Well he has to be better than whatever steroid head they had playing Bane in the other Batmans!

It will be a difficult character for both Hardy and the writers to pull off convingly (but I suppose his relative lack of fame makes a complete re-write possible) so I hope that they don't ruin the movie. Hathaway is attractive but not an actress I can picture as catwoman.

Wow - he's a lot older than I thought (though in hindsight, my guess was just flat-out crap).

Yep. I honestly can't believe he's 78 in April. It's not just Wiki talking shit, he really is that old. I would have guessed early 60s, but wouldn't have been shocked if he was 58 or something.
