Saw a silly movie called Doomsday, its like a camp cross-over of Escape from LA and Mad Max...the lead actors in it should be ashamed of themselves.

Also saw REC, terrifyingly good

Watched Jiro Dreams of Sushi the other night, very good doc. One of those docs where you have little or no interest in the subject but somehow it becomes the most fascinating thing in the world.

Just watched The Avengers. Pacy action with a lot of humor. Enjoyed it.
Best bit - When Captain America is giving out orders to everyone what to do, and lastly tells Hulk; 'Smash'. 🙂

The trailer will give you an idea of what it looks like, but ignore any concept of the purpose or plot of the film that it suggests, as it's not a thriller in the slightest.

Finally got around to watching this on Burnsy's recommendation. Effing masterpiece this is! Beautiful, slow, and at the same time extremely intense.

Glad you liked 'Once Upon …' Rex!

I've recommended that film far and wide since I saw it, I think it's genius. I've had a few people come back whinging about its pace or its mild inscrutability, but lots of others really loved it.
