Yeah, need toplay the first one on the ps1 to understand the storyline tbh. The first game had almost as much cutscenes as the second and once you see both you feel like you're watching a movie (such is the detail in the storyline) in addition to playing the game. Didn't really like MGS3 as much tbh. MGS4 on the ps3 is decent but veers too far from the stealth styled gameplay that made the others unique.

I can see the objections to MGS2. There were too many cut-scenes and the plot was a bit far-fetched but this was in stark contrast to the PS1 iteration. Haven't played MGS3 but intend to buy it at some point; gameplay sounds interesting but plot sounds wack.

By the way Capi, I didn't think I'd like Okami given what I knew about it but it seems pretty good. Haven't tried Onimusha yet; all I need to get now is a memory card. 😆

I agree there. MGS 1 was a classic. Everything about it was so creatively done and seemed to be ahead of its time. 2 was still good but yeah, the storyline did start to become more fantasy than real life. MGS 3 was even moreexaggerated and just seemed absurd half the time. The gameplay was still decent but nothing compared to the other 2. MGS 4 was different in that it was less stealth than the older ones which seemed to veer away from the originals. Also it's set in the future with an older snake.

Can't help but feel the new one will be a disappointment but I'm still excited by it.

I beat madrid 10-0 once in CM99. It's just stupid when that happens.

12 - 0, jeez. The shine is starting to wear off on fm11 - some ridiculous stuff happening.

Everyone seems to be winning at ease, so far i've found it tricky enough. Got knocked out of both cups but won the league by 5 or 6 points.

I've been offered some ridiculous deals. Hart for £3.8m, Tevez for £14m (wouldn't sign a contract). Looks like i best start sniffing round Messi too then.

Apparently a mate of mine who has the game has been telling me that there's a glitch in the game (at least until you get the first patch) whereby players get unsettled quickly and get offered to you at face value. Just unsettle them by saying you'd like to buy them and whatnot lol.

Same, have had every pro game since the ps1. Not really into streetfighter though. It's fun but I'm just shit at it.

Taking me ages to get to 4 stars on Pro 5. 😆 Don't know why considering I had little problem in Pro 4/6.

Same here really. Only games I play obsessively are footy sims. Mate I'm moving in with has a PS3 and always gets the latest PES... :drool:

You'll love Pro 11 when you get the hang of it.

Agree with your point though. I loved Pro 4 and Pro 6, but just never really enjoyed Pro 5. Bought it and had it for 3 weeks. Ended up returning it and playing Pro 4 up until Pro 6 came out. Pro 5 was just too stop start for me with the ref blowing his whistle literally every 5 seconds. Had the potential to be a good game though.

Five is the best in my opinion.

I'm a bit bored of console gaming at the moment which is why I have re-acquainted myself with my DS, it's such a good system.
