You could be right there mate. I very rarely do that either though, and this come off the back of me beating Forest in the Carling Cup semi 1st leg (a bit premature when i said i was in the final), and there wasnt even a press conference to attend.

Same thing has happened to me, i think it came straight after a press conference although i have gotten quite a few red cards so maybe its that.

Everyone seems to be doing really well with Arsenal. Think i'll start a game with them soon as i'm not quite as dominant with Bayern as i hoped. Out of the domestic cup and lost my last 16 home game v Arsenal 2-1 so looks like i'm on my way out of that competition too. Neck for neck with Dortmund in the league.

FM just decided to schedule a home game against Spurs in the middle of an international break. So here I am with pretty much every single player away on international duty, having to play 6 youth players. Of course only a few of the Spurs losers actually play for their country. It finished 1-1 which was a lucky break all things considering. I though this retarded bug had been fixed. I remember it from FM 2006 or 2007 but it wasn't there in the last few versions.

I have no clear favourites but i liked the Max Payne games and love the Assassins Creed series. Final Fantasy used to be fun, especially 6. Of course Metal Gear Solid series is up there too.

Indigo prophecy and heavy rain are good fun too

Max Payne was a cracker. Only ever played one of the Final Fantasy games, on the PS2 - was amazing at the time, but it took up so much of my life that I'm probably not going to start another!

Never really got into MGS - played MGS2 on the PS2, and only really found it so-so - the incredibly long cut scenes and a storyline that seemed totally obscure kind of put me off.

Was never much of an MGS fan either but have played every final fantasy. The newest one is the first that I haven't completed because it's rubbish.

Would still rate uncharted 2 as the best game on PS3.

Been playing some nifty little titles on the DS for the last few days:

Advance wars: dual strike; brilliant strategy game.
The world ends with you; quirky role-player from square. Very good so far.
Professor Layton and the unwound future; a puzzle game with a storyline. I don't usually like puzzle games but this is brilliant.

uncharted 2, god of war 3, mgs4 and infamous are all fantastic games. the new batman game was good too. demon's souls was an interesting and fun (but hard) game.

right now i'm enjoying gran turismo 5 alot.

I just never got the hype, that's all. Played one of the games on PS2 and found it too heavy on cutscenes explaining a weird storyline I just couldn't understand, and a bit light on gsmeplay. Have one of the PS3 versions now, but not got it out of the box yet.

Arkham Asylum was excellent, played through it in a very long day!!!
