Only bought my first PS3 in September last year (the new super slim bundled with FIFA 13 on release date) and figured I'd probably wait until PS4 had been out for 2-3 years and the price goes down (ie, when the 2nd generation of it comes out) until upgrading. So I was almost hoping this would be really expensive and wouldn't seem worth getting so soon. Going to be seriously tempted to get when fairly soon after release now.
Given the video above and the big deal made about having no restrictions for sharing games, I wonder if their initial plan was to do it but they quickly changed after the backlash Microsoft got for announcing it first.
Only negative is having to pay out for PS+ to play multiplayer online which has always been free with PS3.
