Bought Mario Odyssey, LoZ Breath of the Wild and LoZ Link's Awakening when I bought my Switch. Thought to keep BoTW to the last once I've completed the others.
Mario Odyssey is good fun. Think it's better than any Mario I played since Mario 64. Link's Awakening was a good remaster of the original though can't remember much from when I first played it.
Both games are taking longer than usual because I'm trying to 100% each level/temple whatever before I move on. So BoTW will have to wait for now.
Bin off the other two and play breath of the wild, mate.
Interesting take on Odyssey - my minority take is that it's one of the dullest Mario games of all time and is handily bettered by 3d world and galaxy 2, plus a few of the 2d games.
Will do soon. Hinestly haven't touched my Wii since June so might get back into is soon, especially if, as rumoured, we go back into lockdown in the jext couple weeks.
Re Odyssey, maybe. The only non LoZ game I bought on Nintendo since moving on from the N64 has been Mario Sunshine off the back of Mario 64 and that put me off completely.
Since then been looking for Mario to get back to the levels of Mario 64 but never been tempted by Galaxy (I mean it's just running on tiny planets doesn't look all that fun). The 2D ones look good but been waiting for something closer to the Mario64 style and Odyssey seemed to satisfy that itch for me.
I've bought a Gamecube, Wii, and a Switch since my N64 purely just to play the LoZ series (unless I can find a good Mario gane) and end up giving the console and game away to relatives or friends once I'm done.
