I got Origins because I heard they had changed it up, didn't like it at all. GoT is on a different level altogether.

Didn't like it much myself. Come to think of it I bought both Origins and Odyssey and didn't play through any of them. Just slightly worrying that the things you mentioned about GoT (rewarding you with loot and level ups for skills) sounded exactly like what Ubisoft focused on in Odyssey. I have no doubt that GoT is better, Sucker Punch usually puts out good games, but with me not spending a lot of time on gaming right now I'm not sure I'll put aside time for a game that supposedly follows what's by now known as "the Ubisoft formula".

Arsenal is ridiculously broke in the game. Managed to sell Mustafi for 15m to Lazio, Sokratis for 26m to Everton, 12m for Kola to West Ham and 31m for Xhaka to Madrid.

Annoyingly no takers for Torreira, Guendouzi, Ozil and Laca.

I see people saying that now for any sort of 3rd person action open world that has side quests, its just lazy, hacky reviewing. Game reviewers are shit and if games don't click very early they tend to shit on them a bit. Another great game they said that about was HZD and GoT is far closer to that than any Assassins game IMO.

Guendouzi is pretty good, I only sold him because he got in a huff when I signed Tolisso to play ahead of him.

The great thing about Arsenal is the young players, Willock, Eddie, Saka, Saliba, etc all turned into really good players for me.

I snapped up James Rodriguez on loan and that's made things very easy. The board have coughed up £60m too for the Jan transfer window since I'm up to 2nd.

This would have convinced me to get the cheap Xbox if Bethesda hadn't shit the bed so bad with Fallout 76. Will wait and see if they can recover before worrying about this now.

Things are looking bad for consumers though. Rumours about more buy outs from Sony soon, no doubt with Microsoft competing. We might be heading back to an era where gamers need to buy all the consoles.

Exact same, Qwiss. Can't stand the AC games but I love this. It's one of few action games that I think gets the story right too. Some real emotional punches in there. The end of act two was too good.

Fallout 76 was always going to be a quick and dirty money scheme to support them while they were waiting for the next generation to hit to be fair, though. It was obvious from the first moment it was announced. I'm surprised people wanted it at all.

Anyone recommend a decent PC that can run stuff like FM and CKIII effortlessly that I can also use for work? I've not bought a PC since my uni days and am ridiculously out of touch, and the Laptop my work gave me is 6 years old and pointless for gaming.

Dell XPS 15.

Tbf you could run FM and CKIII on a cheaper laptop but if I was looking to buy a laptop today, that's what I would pick. The XPS line has been around for a while and generally been pretty reliable. You could pick last years model if you want to save a bit too.

The huawei matebook x pro is a decent alternative and cheaper in every configuration, if I remember correctly.
