They’re going to bleed Sony dry with this. The tables have turned. MS comes into this generation as a cash rich company that can also leverage its cloud division. Sony MUST make money on consoles. They’re screwed.
That may be an exaggeration. I still think the PS5 will sell like hot cakes. Sony have a very gamer focussed model now, Microsoft don't and this I think ties in with that, its something that casual gamers will get. I have friends who only play FIFA and I can see them getting this instead of a more expensive console. However people who are into playing games quite a bit I'd guess will still get the full on consoles and Sony has the edge there because they have so many big exclusives these days.
Like Quincy though I'd potentially grab one of these eventually if Microsoft can add some decent exclusives.
