Indigo Prophecy is one my favourite games and i haven't played anything similar to it. It goes crazy near the end but it's still a great game.

Personally I didn't like Fahrenheit much, but I suppose you can say that the creators have something in common as far as artistic ambition is concerned. Pathologic is a one-of-a-kind creation. It's an extremely unpleasant experience too, so people who play for pure entertainment won't get far. But the depth is almost limitless. The nerve, the vision, the storytelling, the commitment to its themes, the meta aspect... I've never seen anything like it before. Only game that explores similar themes and comes even close is The Void, which was made by the same people.

So, as someone who has enjoyed FIFA 11 but found opposition goalkeepers incredibly hard work (and then got sacked by Arsenal just months after winning the Champions Cup, not to mention 2 league titles and FA consecutive FA Cup wins), do you lot think i should get FIFA 12?

On a different note, having read about Resident Evil 4 being available for download off the PSN, I took the plunge and am loving it. Totally engrossing game.

Can only speak for the PC version of FIFA 12 but in terms of the graphics and gameplay it's the most realistc football game I've ever seen. However it's very difficult, at least for me, compared to the previous versions. Especially the defending. Been playing it for about 2 weeks now and on professional I'm still losing 4-0 or 5-1 to Wigan with players like Victor Moses zig-zagging through my entire team from the half way line like Messi to score! Vermaelan and Mertesacker finishing 12 minute games with tackle stats of 3 tackles made out of 17 attempts etc. I do like the defensive change as it's more realistic in that you have to position your player correctly and time the tackles properly rather than just hold down the tackle/press button so your centre back automatically rushes 25 yards and wins the tackle. Just finding it so fucking difficult to get good at!

Pro Evolution Soccer 2012 is better than Fifa 12 so far in my eyes. Think this is the year Konami will get back up on the horse. I still play a lot of Fifa though. Think it was a brilliant decision to remake the defence and actually put some skill back into the game.

Also the attack is very realistic with Arsenal actually - I cannot break down the opposition to create any chances! Just lost 3-0 to Bolton and I had 1 shot in the entire game. Kevin fucking Davies ran through my defence from the halfway line to score.

😆 Ramires destroying Santos in the first half was basically an instant replay of what happens.

the smaller sides are a nightmare on fifa 12, make no mistake. i've had the game for over a month, and there are still times where i get caught out by swansea or wolves. i like it that way though.

Any tips for headers? Particularly when attacking. I'm not too bad at winning headers defensively, but have not managed to get a single attacking header on target yet. Generally the balloon way over the bar when I win them. used to actually be quite good at getting a header from a corner on target on Fifa 11 and used to score them occasionally so there must be something slightly different with regards to the timing or aiming on this version. Although I basically only played 11 online and never against the computer, since it was similar enough to previous versions that there wasn't much need to practice and learn anything before taking on other people so is it maybe just that the computer is much better at challenging for headers than other people online are?

haven't figured them out yet. i win alot of attacking headers, but so far it's been a crapshoot as to where they end up. the stats seem to make a big difference. i've scored some sweet headers with Drogba and Dzeko, but i haven't scored one with arsenal.

Probably makes sense. I can sometimes win them with Mertesacker and Song but they end up miles high or wide, or usually both. Probably realistic!

They also seem to have changed the way you take penalties which I didn't realise until I had a penalty shootout and missed every single one. Previously you'd just hold down your direction and power buttons but this time you seem to have to choose your direction after the power (and also need to stop the bar in that green area first). Couldn't work out why every one I took was miles wide in that first shooutout I had! 😆

From what I can tell heading on offensive corners boils down to stats and space. If you can get free from your marker you'll do much, much better.

GTA V will be set in San Andreas again. Really would've liked a new city, but i must admit a current gen San Andreas would be an awesome stomping ground

Doesn't look like they're doing new cities really. IV being back in Liberty City and all that. Still SA was a massive city so I'm looking forward to what they can pack into it.
