I'm struggling to get wins in FUT, doing ok in normal online seasons. Defending has changed quite a bit so I'm still getting used to that. Feels like theres a lot more space when defending this season for some reason and I find it hard to win the ball high up the pitch.

Funnily enough I’m finding defending a lot easier in this version than previous. Slower defenders also have their use, don’t feel that exposed by pace as their positioning is much better.

My team isn’t bad considering I’ve not actually played that much.

Thats me so far. Currently saving for Matuidi then I'll upgrade the fullbacks.

That’s looking good. I was to save up now and try and get a real superstar like Suarez or Greizman by not sure I’ll be patient enough. Zaza is garbage.

I have actually packed a few good players from the squad battles mode and SBCs.

Zaza was from a pack too.

I got great packs on the first night of pre-release, what was that Tuesday? They seemed to be flooding the market with quality early on. Packed IF Mustafi, Mane and IF Bakambu in a short space of time.

I've done both the hybrid leagues and the hybrid nations SBCs and haven't gotten anything better than Fernandinho. Can get decent teams pretty cheap though, Deulofeu , Muriel and Felipe Anderson are all great.

I had a Prem team for a while. Benteke up top was pretty decent, Phillips on the wing was tearing it up though. Scored more goals for me than Mane.

I'm really loving the SNES Mini so far. Best SNES emulation I've seen anywhere, and unlike something like a Raspberry Pi it doesn't scale and strech the picture in weird ways. The controllers are fantastic too. They're identical to the old ones as near as I can tell.

I just need them to finish hacking the machine so I can load Blackthorne and Zombies Ate My Neighbors on there, and then I'll be set for a while.

Whats the deal with people spending a fortune to completing SBCs for very little reward?

I was doing this weeks marquee matchups and, thanks to packing Vardy, made a tidy sum before reaching the final one, the Melbourne challenge. To my horror people are paying 8k plus for each of the Melbourne players, and a further 4k+ for gold players. All in all we're talking about 25k or so to complete a challenge with a shit pack at the end of it. Forget that.

I've managed to accumulate 370k despite only playing casually since the first week. Seems a lot easier to make money now, especially thanks to squad battles.

I'm still shit online though, can't get out of division 9.

Just packed IF Isco. Loving IF Zaza as well, scoring bucketloads for me. Saving up for Hamsik.

Such a great game. The fights are always exciting, and it's an amazing feeling to take down big enemies. I'd recommend getting the Tinker skill and the Hunter Reflexes skill. Late in the game the ability to switch out mods on the weapons is invaluable, and Hunter Reflexes slows down time if you aim while in the air, perfect for when the concentration ability needs to recool.

I didn't realise you could use that while concentration is cooling, thats very handy.

Anyone played fortnite? Amazing game. You can suck and still come 13th out of 100 in your second go.

Picked up Gran Turismo Sport last week. It's good fun, but I'm still pining for the previous version. It really sucks you can't retro fit old PS3 games tot he PS4.

GT Sport requires you to race against other humans, so it nearly always takes at least 10 minutes just to set up a race. If you want to jump straight in you have to play arcade mode, or do one of the challenges. Visually very good, and the cars are cool fun to drive.

The latest Mario game is supposed to be absolutely amazing. If I wasn't a student I'd definitely buy myself a Switch to play that and Breath of the Wind.

The latest Assassins Creed is also supposed to be good. I haven't bought one since Black Flag, which is apparently the latest that wasn't mediocre. Ubisoft took a year longer on making Origins, and it seems like it's actually a different game for once, getting pretty good reviews. Wolfenstein 2 looks cool as well, I'll have to pick one of them up when school ends.

I kind of like the look for that Assassins Creed, I wasn't a big fan of the series and haven't played any on this gen but that looks more like the sort of games I like.
