Same as anything else really; there are plenty of people who sail through GCSE's, A-levels etc. but never make anything of themselves.

I used to play a bit with some people who are now semi-pro, and I always thought they were pretty bloody good. Then again, I'm pretty shit...

I can confidently say that Ashley Cole and Ledley King were immense even when they were in primary school. Jlloyd Samuel was pretty bloody amazing too.

I always thought Jlloyd Samuel could have made a much better career for himself than he ever did.

Didn't Cuntley Cunt score hundreds of goals (literally) when he was playing at school?

I'm younger and went to secondary outside of the borough so never played school football with or against him but in the youth league he used to score 100 goals or more a season for Puma.

Used to see Joe Cole at Market Road near Canteloes in Camden back in the day. The guy had the most outrageous skills I'd ever seen in person. Too bad Mourinho and the English national team had to take all the skill out of his game.

How did you meet these guys?

I read and article about Ledley King, John Terry, Jlloyd Samuel, Paul Konchesky and some other bloke all playing in the same 5-a-side league together and their team always used to win without fail.

Through school, or school football by the looks of things..

I know guys who are/were at Millwall, Orient and MK Dons, although only one of them looks like he's likely to make it in the football league.

I'm actually from Northwest London but yeah, I probably could. Where is this twitter account by the way?

By the way, a mate of mine from uni says he used to go school with JET and that he never used to be all that. Claims that he's surprised he plays for Arsenal as all he used to be was a big lad who used to bully players but not a particularly good footballer compared to others in the school who many used to get picked ahead of him. He was shocked when I showed him that goal he scored against Everton reserves.

Outie says something similar, that although he (JET) was the best of their group he's amazed that he had the ability to get this far. Anyone got a link to Jay's twitter?

Edit - Yeah, Burnwinter got there first.

Rio Ferdinand trying to tap up Jack on Twitter.

What did he say?

Basically no one knows, since in addition to being dyslectic Rio also has this weird habit of including numbers in the words he's misspelling. Jack is just typing polite smileys in response because he doesn't know what else to do.

I don't even know how this whle twitter thing works and who is saying what most of the time.

For example here. Who is saying what?

They're all of JET's tweets. What you read, is what he's typing. If he's mentioned someone, you'll see their profile name...such as "@loyan".

I don't think his page is the best way of trying to grasp how it works. What a mess.

Oh. So how do you see what people write on other people's twitter?

DaG. Yeah, was just reading that.

Szczesny reckons our youth team goalkeeping coach has improved his kicking by 15 yards in 5 minutes. Lets hope he's right.
