Sadly Dortmund's team will break up soon
Mario Götze
Offer them a ton for Hummels, Gotze and Reus?
Yuv jokingly said we should buy Bayern which we obviously cannot afford.
Dortmund or at least 3 or 4 of their players, on the other hand, ...
The dream
Realistically which players do you think we could prize from bayern and Dortmund
Bayern zero. Dortmund loads

Think everyone at Dortmund is generally for sale if you are willing to make it rain. At the same time, I'm not sure many of the german boys are willing to move.
I think Dortmund will sell the 'lesser' talents like Lewandowski and keep the likes of Götze, Hummels and Reus as their backbone. All of them seem content with staying in Bundesliga for the foreseeable future.
I think united will get hummels
think reus would be more useful for us, and he's impressed me more this season. no questioning goatse's talent though.
Reus won't leave after just one season.
Gotze would fetch close to 40m because of BVB's reluctance to sell.
i also feel like Reus and Gotze are out of the question. Reus was real value for money at 18M Euros or thereabouts.
Question with Gotze is how would he fit with Jack. Wilshere is an extremely difficult player to place, but I almost feel that he should be playing wide. He'd probably do better as an inside right rather than a left forward. If you had Gotze, would you keep Wilshere in centre mid, at the 10? And then would you play Gotze on the flank? Would we have the right mix of players as well? I almost feel Reus would be the better option for us given his ability to both create for himself and finish.
Gotze has had 2 very good seasons playing mostly on the flank. Can't say the same of jack. And its probably true that Reus is a better fit.
If we had balls, we would make a proper bid for some of their players. At least one.
Lewandowski is growing on me. I've made an effort to watch more of them in 2013, and I'm of the opinion that even though he doesn't have as many goals as you would like, he has good movement and link-up play. He would still need 2-3 good finishers playing off him though as he is not going to hit 30 goals a year.
Spunk it all on Cavani or Falcao.
I don't see Falcao or Cavani happening.
Barcelona really need a striker, unless they want to wear out Messi.
Bayern could buy Falcao or Cavani as a present for Pep.
Citeh and Real also have money to blow.
Juventus is still to use its striker budget.
That's 5 big teams that have a need (real or imagined) for a big name striker.
If I'm Arsenal, I let them have Falcao or Cavani, but then I go in and grab whoever is affected by such a purchase. The likes of Mario Mandzukic, Edin Dzeko, or Gonzalo Higuain or even a David Villa could find themselves homeless.
Bayern just signed Mandzukic and he's been doing pretty well for them, they also have Gomez who knows how to score. Juventus just signed Llorente as well.
You'd be a pretty poor manager to sign a striker and then sell the next best forward off immediately. Would you sell Giroud just because we signed another striker?
And none of those clubs give a toss about balancing their books either. David Villa's different because he's old and out of form.
Fair points. David Villa, Edin Dzeko and Gonzalo Higuain are definitely 'at risk' strikers, if only because they could see less playing time if Falcao / Cavani come in. Even Neymar going to Barca could have an adverse effect on David Villa.
Mandzukic doing 'pretty well' for Bayern has to be one of the biggest understatements of this season.
Lewandowski out of contract in 2014.
