i give big names less time. if he signed michu and carzola in the same season, carzola's minimum expectation from me would be what he's doing now. at 2m michu would get a whole season from me to settle as long as he showed some footballing ability in his cameos. if he actually did for us what he's doing for swansea then i would still have faith in wenger's bargain talent spotting prowess.

I realise that it's a bit moot since one of them has already signed for Chelsea, but still. It's been suggested that Ba's transfer fee was actually close to £15 million due to agent fees. That money would in all likelihood get us Michu.

I think it's not a case of us not wanting players, many of us just want him to roll the dice and bring in different players. We also want him to act swiftly in a transfer window for once
Oh and if he wants to blame anyone for us expecting names then blame gazadis saying there's loads of money there
Fans are generally pretty patient when it comes to players, respond to performance on the pitch.

Our player turnover in the last 5 or 6 years has been ridiculous. More than anything we need to keep our best players for more than 3 years and then add one or two each year.
