Sabre doesn't post often enough Otf. Although his 'water balloon' from yesterday was easily best of the season so far.

We should open an archive thread where the best, funniest, shocking posts can be highlighted for posterity value?

Your girlfriend analogy left out the part about not having been laid in 8 years, and being the forgiving type with your ex might rectify that 🙂

I'm not saying the I wouldn't take her back if she realises that I was better for her than the other guy, I'm just saying hoping that she may come back because the other guy isn't showing her much interest anymore is a little sad. Should move on and find someone else.

Another thing that needs to be considered is if it's worth getting laid if she has greasy hair?

I dont't think anyone is suggesting that, at least I'm not.

Break out of the trance induced by Mikky's eyes and have a look at his barnet.

but you've been with her for 7 of those 8 years.

I still feel bitter about it and get a kick out of the fact its not going so great for him. And i don't think he'll be leaving anytime soon unless the new manager really has it in for him, which i doubt.

Having said that if he was available on loan next season or available at a cut price and willing to come back then i don't think i could turn that down. Obviously a brilliant player and he might just come back a little more humble and less likely to have a twitchy hamstring.

It's kinda like you had a favourite hammer and used to bang in nails all day, but then the girl next door needed one so you gave her yours, but then she tonked her thumb with it and got upset so she left it on your doorstep, and it's still your favourite hammer so should you take it back and go back to banging in nails, or is it a problem that it's covered in girl germs? Hmm?

😆
Sums it up perfectly! AnthonyG would be proud of you...

I'd take him back in an instant, not for £30mill though!

Yeah he was a proper cunt but what can you do, not like most others have behaved much better. Also we shouldn't forget we did nick him from Barca so aren't exactly angels ourselves.

£30m for Cesc would still be £10m less than what we sold him for. Bargain price I'd say for a player of his quality not even in his prime yet.

Players as good as Cesc are exactly who you do pay £30m for imo. I reckon even Wenger would see that.

Especially since everybody already KNOWS that he can play well both in this league and at Arsenal.

He'd also have RE-SALE VALUE. 🙂

The thing is when I tried to use that hammer it just wouldn't work. So I went out and bought smaller hammer manufactured in the same country and guess what? Well I like that new hammer a lot better so I'm going to keep that hammer instead.

Then Wenger would go in with £30m, assuming - as we do - that Wenger is choosing not to spend and actually has money available.

He won't though. Perhaps because he doesn't think Cesc is worth that money, or perhaps because he isn't allowed to spend £30m on a player.

Wenger would never spend 30m or more on a player, even if it's his ex gf.

You can't sit here and tell me that Cesc is the only player out there that he rates so highly?

Cesc is the only player that wenger rates so highly.

Didn't Wenger supposedly bid ballpark of €30m for both Hazard and Götze?

he should come back. i'd welcome him with open arms.

Wenger rates Diaby higher 😆

Hmmm..

Regardless of whether you like him or not his quality is undeniable. I can't understand why people would turn down the opportunity to better the squad. Gary Neville had it right when he said 'the football club is the most important thing, players are just grains of sand at the beach'. We need to remove that emotional attachment to players and focus on the bigger picture. If Cesc was to become available we should jump at the chance to bring him back.
