Well I can see why we would need to unearth a gem or two to compete but we should be able to combine that with the occasional bigger signing. Not even massive Chelsea/City style £50m signing, half that on a striker this summer could have made all the difference for us.

Still a cracking player, scored a good goal yesterday, and I'd take him back at Arsenal in a heartbeat. I'd take him ahead of 2/3 of current squad. Probably a lot more come to think of it. 🙁
