Fuck both of them?
You can come home now Cesc
Or maybe I just have my favourites that I won't hear a bad word said about.
List which includes but isn't limited to
Cesc
Flamini (don't ask)
Vieira
Henry
Bergkamp
(Every other invincible except Cashley)
Ramsey
Jack
Jenkinson, Koscielny, Vermaelen
I might include Gibbs if he signs a new contract
Cesc fucked us over. Deal with it.
99 percent of Arsenal fans would have both forgiven and forgotten what either of Cesc and RVP did if they were to come back and play to their own normal standard. Within weeks.
Personally I don't think we should have sold either of them, especially Cesc. I'd easily take Cesc back. I have no doubts whatsoever that he genuinely loves Arsenal, and he is easily one of the best players ever to play for this formidable club. Few players have given me as much joy over the years as Cesc.
Ah Rex so we can agree on one thing then.
Cesc is amazing and we would take him back.

Well I'm glad you think that we're not all fucking stupid Rex.
You claim to be a pragmatic man Gus. Wouldn't you agree that generally you increase your chances of winning trophies if you have better players?
I'd rather even play Cesc at CF than any of the players who are likely to get games there for us this season.
Too slow and weak.
He doesn't play cf for Barca or Spain
False 9 role which is all the craze now, even we are doing it with Gervinho.
Captain wrote:Too slow and weak.
I agree. I'd still fancy him there over Girouffe, Walcott, Gervinho or Chamakh.
Maybe Cesc is the player Wenger was talking about getting in December. He'd take the SS spottho think he'd score and create a ot at CF to but its a waste of his attributes.
------Mert
Pod--Cesc--Carz
I know people are saying Wenger wouldn't bring him back. But we put a buy back clause in their so we cant be 100% against him coming back.
Of course Wenger would take him back.
He's not the player Wenger was talking about. Guaranteed.
Cesc will only leave Barcelona if they want to get rid of him. They have made some ridiculous moves regarding transfers in the recent past so I guess it isn't totally out of the question.
That btw, is the only scenario where we would be favorites to land a player of Cesc's quality.
squallkid wrote:Well that's my explanation.
If Cesc had gone to Man Utd he would be in the same category as Judas.
Fuck RVP.
You do know that VP did not choose ManU. We sold him to them as nobody else was willing to pay anything close to what they were offering. Would you have preferred he said no and run down his contract?
Bumper Rex wrote:You claim to be a pragmatic man Gus. Wouldn't you agree that generally you increase your chances of winning trophies if you have better players?
Not if those self same players in the past have proved disloyal.
I'd rather have a more technically limited player if they were whole heartedly committed to the cause because I believe at the end of the day they're more effective.
Besides there are cheaper alternative options like Carzorla for instance.
Generally, yes. But still, our biggest problem has been that the cheaper alternatives haven't been readily available for the last few years. It's getting harder to find a gem by the day.
thats true, capi. meanwhile, we made a 35m pre-tax profit and are sitting on cash reserves of 120m - all in spite of the fact that united makes more from their training kit sponsorship than we do for the stadium and kit deals combined.
we shouldn't need to rely on unearthing hidden gems or waiting for clearance sales like we have. wenger (or whoever our manager is) should write down the names of guys he wants and gazidis should go get them.
Word Kami.
Anybody seen Cesc's fall from yesterday? Lol! Did a busquets against granada (i think)!

Well I can see why we would need to unearth a gem or two to compete but we should be able to combine that with the occasional bigger signing. Not even massive Chelsea/City style £50m signing, half that on a striker this summer could have made all the difference for us.

Just seen it. What a fucking cunt. This kind of scummy behavior deserves a hard retrospective punishment.
Do they neuter their players at Barca? Thats the same kid who punched Cahill and threw pizza at Fergie. Now he's feigning injury over a bit of handbags. What a scumbag.
qs! wrote:Do they neuter their players at Barca?
I wouldn't rule it out tbh.
It's definitely got something to do with club culture/environment the manager/teammates create.
It's definitely a Barcelona thing, helps gurantee that no one tries to rough them up.
Thats terrible from Cesc. Pathetic
Legit. There was contact.
Clrnc is right!
They are a bunch of slimy cheating sausage jockeys.
cesc always had a whiny embarassing side to his character on the pitch, it started to come out more and more as he got older, and now it's in full swing.
You can take the boy out of Barcelona, but you can't take Barcelona out of the boy.
Biggus wrote:You can take the boy out of Barcelona, but you can't take Barcelona out of the boy.
So true
Still a cracking player, scored a good goal yesterday, and I'd take him back at Arsenal in a heartbeat. I'd take him ahead of 2/3 of current squad. Probably a lot more come to think of it.
We have more pressing issues. Would rather sign a world class forward and mabe a wideman instead of Cesc.
