I don't see why people are going crazy over the fact that concerns are being expressed over Giroud.
If you feel and really believe that it will all fall into place for him, fair enough.
If you have doubts that it may not, in the sense that he won't be the type of striker that scores in big matches and tight situations, it's fair enough to express that too.
It's not about right / wrong I told you so rubbish.
I have some worries about him, if he turns around and scores against Southampton and continues to score regularly I'll be flipping delighted to have been wrong in doubting.
It's about wanting the best, and hopefully he turns out to be great.
