Absolutely brilliant feeling. Despite Liverpool being mid-table fodder these days and the fact we tend to win there quite often of late, an Anfield win still really does feel something special doesn't it?
Pleased for Podolski. He's looked pretty good so far and seems to do an incredible amount of defensive work for a forward. Giroud on the other hand looks like he couldn't hit a barn door if his life depended on it. I said last week that he so far looks nothing more than a better looking Bendtner and that opinion remains the same. If this is the guy we're going with up front we may aswell have stuck with Bendtner and spent the money somewhere else.
We really are fucked if Arteta gets injured aren't we? What an absolutely fantastic player. So composed and he really is the whole backbone of this team. I can't believe United didn't pay Everton big money for him years ago like they did for other players from clubs of similar stature like Rooney, Carrick, Valencia, Berbatov, Smalling etc.
3 clean sheets in a row and Steve Bould joining the coaching setup cannot be a coincidence. First time in years I've been able to watch opposition corners without having to cover my eyes with my hands in fear.
