Well don't go buying just yet. He won't keep it up, but maybe his ups and downs will get less extreme with a run of games.

Diaby has been much better than he was against Sunderland and Stoke but he's still terribly slow to release the ball and spot openings. His performance would've been rated a lot worse without the assist. He just doesn't read the movement of other players well. So many misplaced passes. Only time he's really useful is on the counter.

Diaby has been light years ahead of last week. Couple of stray passes but his energy, his interceptions, ball-winning and drive forward have been really delightful.

Great goal as well. Not to mention the fact that the guy that scored it was playing left back like a demon in the last thirty seconds of the half.

Raheem Sterling is a livewire - quite impressed.

eh, gibbs was in his full right to have a go at him. giroud should have let gibbs take the shot; he was in a much better position.

Hope coquelin, Kos and Walcott get game time all for different reasons.

I would take Jenkinson off and stick Kos there, the game is quite open now so Walcott at some point.
