cazorla has been solid, ox is always on the verge of doing something good but doent quite get there. might be worth sticking theo on earl in the 2nd.

No one's said it isn't important for a forward to score.

Looking at the first goal again. Giroud does well there too. Drags his defender away from Cazorla who gets a bigger window to pick out Podolski.

Some good positives to take from the first half. Podolski works his socks off for Arsenal and did a great, composed finish for the goal. Diaby looks like a million bucks on the ball, and has been the driving force in our counter attacking.

Still diffucult to read how this one will go.
We're not error proof at the back and I don't trust Webb not to eventually fall for a Liverpool dive in the box.

Diaby, Podolski having great games.
Cazorla's been quite but was absolutely spot on when it really mattered.
Jenkinson had a horrible start but looked less a liability towards the end of that half.
Chamberlain isn't really in it.
Giroud - even before he hit the pitch he looked rattled, nothing that happened in that half will make him feel anyway better.

It was podolski i think. Would have had a straight shot if he let him through.

Put Walcott on to stretch the play around the 60 minutes.

If we score another goal quickly this game is dead, Pool are low on confidence and I think all they need is another loss in order to turn on Rodgers.

It's not much but Giroud did open up the space for Podolski to run into and his run for his chance was quite decent.

Diaby has been brilliant.

Podolski works so hard and scored a great goal. Started the move and ended it.

Jenkinson and Per are a bit worrying.

Giroud deperately needs a goal. Good movemen though.

Cazorla has such quick feet...Any other player would have lost the ball to a challenge, he gets rid of it quick...Impressive....Great assist on the goal...

Kos will surely start after the break. Hope the yellow doesn't come to bit Mert in the ass.
Diaby has been magnificent. Such a high ceiling but so much crap usually. If he can keep this level up for the season, it could make a real difference.
Giroud is the one that's worrying me right now. He needs to score soon or it will just get his confidence lower.
Jenkinson and Mert gave the ball away too much, but in fairness also did some nice defending. Still scares me though.
We need at least one more.
