Right, which was my point. I trust Jenkinson is a gooner because it's quite obvious he is - he clearly comes from a family of Arsenal-supporters. The fact that he's part-Finnish is just a technicality but for our purposes, he's more English.
My point was I don't tend to trust the foreign imports claiming an Arsenal connection (if ever they do. Generally, they don't, in fairness to them). That's not to say they can't develop a connection - Henry being the most recent example but, and not intending to use this as a stick to beat him with - he did leave at the same age as Van Persie too. With the money and how 'international' the game is these days, the days of testimonials and the Tony Adams and Parlour types are very rare. But there's no doubt Wilshere is one.
