it's such a laughable idea that the english national team suffers because there are too many foreigners in the premier league. if the level of english talent is so bad that 1st teamers can't even merit a spot at a team in the top flight, then wow. younger players can go on loan in the lower divisions or abroad, and when they come back, they train with some of the best players in the world. that's a plus, not a minus.
every country goes through random ups and downs in terms of generational talent, but there's otherwise no excuse for england. just get your shit together and start training your kids properly.
