I don't fall "in love" with players 😆, I never call players c****, nor do I say I hate them, because I don't.
I'm well aware that there are very few heros and legends around these days.
Apart from Wenger 😉
If it helps other people to remain emotionally detached from the team to preserve their own mental well being fair enough, whatever works for them.
I would guess that a lot of people on here have had to cope with and survive more serious matters in real life than their favourite player being sold.
