The article doesn't say it's done. It talks about a supposed row between Podolski and Sahin back in 2010.

I think we want Sahin but are not desperate so we have demanded the Real give us the option of buying or there will be no deal. Brendan Rodgers expects to discover in the next 24 hours whether Real Madrid midfielder Nuri Sahin will join Liverpool on loan.

The manager was asked about a potential move in his press conference following the 1-0 victory over Hearts.

If Wenger doesnt sign a replacement for Song it would be the worst move he made since summer of 2008 when he did not sign a replacement for Flamini (ironically it was because of nuturing Song's development).
