Oh, I see. Personally, I think Mourinho is perfectly happy for him to leave.
Someone powerful at Madrid doesn't want him leaving on a permanent basis quite yet though. Otherwise he would have been for sale all summer.
He's a good player, but I'm not fully convinced by him.
Cazorla is a level up on him.
I wouldn't mind us getting de Jong
Cazorla is also older than him. If we are really in for him we'll be more keen than Mancs - they don't really go for fringe players.
Mourinho has said publicly that Sahin can leave if he wants to go, and that his opportunities would be limited again at RM.
Doesn't mean they'll make it easy but I don't think they're that fussed about holding onto him.
Sahin won't be a fringe player at Utd.
Given the way they had to bring Paul Scholes back from retirement to bring some sort of creativity to their central midfield, I'm surprised they haven't went for Sahin earlier.
so apparently we're haggling over wages. think this will be sorted out shortly.
Trying not to get excited. You have a link kel?
Mr x seems quiet on this one.
I don't think this one will happen.
Having my doubts about this as well mainly because it's not very clear what appeals most to Sahin. With Cazorla it was obvious enough that he'd have been crazy to want to stay at Malaga.
This is all but dead.
BBC reported yesterday we are still in negotiations.
I'm inclined to think that it's pretty close to being done.
They are probably waiting for the Modric deal before finalising Sahin.
I'm 100% certain that I think I'm pretty sure this might happen. Possibly.
Like someone said above, it's difficult to know what Sahin would want to do.
just get sahin and a right back and i think we could really have a chance of winning things next year. both squad and first team is starting to look good.
Sahin wants to join us, Real Madrid wants him to join us, we want him.
Only thing stopping it is the percentage of wages...
Strikes me as very unlikely since he doesn't earn that much at Real. Several papers have reported that we're trying to include a buyout option. That's probably what's taking so long. I have a feeling we're not going to complete this deal without one.
