Song, Arteta, Wilshere, Diaby, Cazorla, Rosicky, Ramsey, Coquelin, Ox...if we cant form a quality and balanced midfield out of that lot then we want shooting quite frankly.
Nuri Sahin
On closer inspection, it's not a particularly great collection. Decent/good.

I can believe that......
However the Man Utd part seems quite confusing. Basically they will loan him to us and we have almost got them to agree to have an option for a permanent transfer. Man Utd want to sign him outright but they want a buy back option? Surely that would mean that if we do have a clause to sign the player they also would have an option to buy back?
If this Man Utd link is true then we should just do what we have to get him in on loan, that way we stop another club and most importantly solve our issues.
It's Marca...

This.
I would happily take a loan without an option to buy, if it meant United or Spurs lost out on him.
I like that video of him. What an all-rounder
Well if United are serious in perusing him it's going to come down to a straight fight between what Mourinho wants versus the wishes of Sahin and his agent.
Reckon Mourinho holds the aces there.
Maureen wouldn't want to strenghten a team he may have to fight it out with for a CL title, would he? We would be the safe bet then.
Mourinho won't decide where he goes, Sahin will.
On the other hand if Mourinho thinks Sahin isn't good enough for Real Madrid then he should be happy for him to go to a potential rival - the enemy you know etc.
In all seriousness I think Mourinho will stay true to his word. He says, if Sahin wants to leave he'll help him, and I think sahin will be free to join whatever club he wants
I wasn't serious. Of course Maureen won't decide where Sahin goes.
I know. Y said Mourinho's will would win out, no way that'd happen. As long as he's not going Barcelona, he'll go where he wants.
Sahin signed a six year contract? Whatever decision is made will be the one that best suits Mourinho.
Is it safe to assume that if he does come, we will have the buy option?
Hope we can tie this up early this week; tuesday or wednesday.
I predict that anything other than Barcelona will suit Maureen just fine though. Don't forget that the Portuguese manager has a massive ego. He won't see, IMO, any other club as a real competitor for anything.
He's free to leave on loan, and most likely for good, why would they care whether it's Arsenal, United or Leyton Orient? Sahin will be annoyed enough at not getting a chance there, he'd go crazy if they then denied him a move to a good club just because they didn't fancy him going there.
If I were Sahin though, I'd be wary of going to another European powerhouse like Man U. The one thing he DOESN'T want is to be riding the pine for another season.
He wouldn't sit at ManU though. Absolutely not.
Still, I don't think their interest is genuine.
To be fair, You'd think United would be perfect for him. Who's his competition there? Cleverly? An ancient Paul Scholes? Guaranteed to play a big role.
Depends what we choose to do with Cazorla as to whether that'd be the same here, because Song and Arteta are good players, and then there's Jack. I want as many good players as possible in our squad, but I'd choose United if I were Sahin.

I wasn't talking about where he would end up on loan though, my point was more centred on the story that United want him on a permanent deal and if Sahin were keen on that Mourinho can veto the move, which I think he would.
