I think I mentioned it earlier in this thread he seems like the player who needs to be playing week in week out, having a good understanding as a CB pairing is key and him and Per work well.

He does choose his moments more carefully now whereas he was prone to just go to win the ball whether or not it was there to be won. He is becoming an immense player, need to keep hold of him at all costs.

Does it really matter that much?
For him personally I suppose the recognition would be good.
For us, as long as he continues on his current trajectory, I'm not bothered whether or not it goes unnoticed by a wider audience.
He's becoming a real force in defence now.

Yup, I was asking yesterday when we last conceded from open play, because it's hard on his form right now to imagine someone beating him. Either need a good combination play to get around him or a lucky bounce. When someone is going 1v1 against him, i feel pretty confident he'll stop him. Now he also takes the ball and starts the counter. Brilliant player

Jenks at CB? I wouldn't rule it out, when he signed enger was saying that he can play across the back 4.

I like Jenks at RB though, gives us extra height (assuming our CBs are tall anyway).

I always wanted to see Bendtner at centre back. He's big, strong, good in the air and most importantly he's got a knack for preventing goals from being scored.

Chris Sutton and Dion Dublin were centre-halves who converted to strikers and Berbatov played quite well at the back, (i read), in a cup game for manu against Leeds.
