Don't forget that Theo's future still isn't sorted. I'm sure the club will offer him a deal, but it doesn't exactly seem like they're going out of their way to show Theo they want to keep him.
I think it's a case of Arsenal wanting him to stay, but they're not going to offer him the 100+k that his people want.
