IF Theo stays, he is going to become Giroud's best mate. Same as RVP last season. No one else at the club comes even close to Walcott when it comes to creating enough space to get a cross in. Pretty handy trait if we play with Eeyore at CF.
Too many fans watch Walcott and still see Walcott from 2009. Walcott 2012 really isn't a hindrance to our passing game, he doesn't break down very many moves, he doesn't become invisible in games for 20 minutes, he has a very good first touch most of the time and he has added an unpredictability to his game. There is not a FB in the country who can just shut him down with ease anymore.
He had a goal and an assist the other day, and his contribution to Cazorla's goal was of a very high technical calibre. Not to mention that he is the only attacking player at the club bar Gervinho who prefers getting the ball into space as opposed to getting it to feet standing still. He made so many runs in behind the Spurs back for especially in the first half!
